Celebrate spring and (hopefully) the forgiving weather by coming to a village fete in Greenwich. You can just sit out with a picnic, or really get involved with some workshops, excellent food, and listen to talks and music.
If your little one is quite young and just along for the ride, there's plenty to spark your interest:
- Check out free and paid workshops to teach you anything from kintsugi and kokedama creation through to yoga and herbal self care
- Attend talks on a variety of topics including How to Nurture Culture in a Cost of Living Crisis, Starting a Sustainable Side Hustle, and The Promise and Peril of Artificial Intelligence
- Listen to music throughout the day at 3 stages
- Sample a variety of street foods, including mac and cheese, Yorkshire burritos, Rendang, moonshine, and craft beer (obviously)
- Treat yourself to something new from the maker's market

But there are plenty of child-friendly and focused activities too! Try:
- Paper hat making with Chapeau Magique
- Some rap music from the Merrymaker
- Face painting with Follies Festival
- Drum and dance with Kinetika Bloco
- The book swap run by Novellic

You'll need to book ahead to get tickets and may need to book individual activities depending on what takes your fancy. If you're looking to cut costs, there are plenty of free activities to get on with.
