37 London Cinemas Showing Baby Screenings

How much is it? Various, usually under £10

What age is it suitable for? Under 1 year

Where is it? Various, around London

If you don't want to miss the latest films, or just want a low-key way to get out with your baby during the day, there are lots of London cinemas that offer baby-friendly screenings. These generally allow babies under the age of 1, have subtitles so that you don't miss anything, and of course, everybody is more understanding that there might be a bit more crying, fussing, or breastfeeding than normal.

9 Picturehouse Cinemas

You can find Picturehouse cinemas in Clapham, Crouch End, East Dulwich, Finsbury Park, Fulham, Greenwich, Hackney, Stratford, West Norwood, and a few others in central London. They run Watch with Baby sessions on weekdays for parents with babies under 1 year old.

9 Curzon Cinemas

Curzon cinemas are some of my favourites around London - I'm a sucker for a place that lets me have a sofa and a blanket. You can find them in Aldgate, Bloomsbury, Camden, Hoxton, Kingston, Mayfair, Soho, Richmond, and Wimbledon, where you can buy tickets for yourself and babies under 1 year go free for Baby Club.

14 Everyman Cinemas

You can find Everyman cinemas in Baker Street, Barnet, Belsize Park, Borough Yards, Broadgate, Canary Wharf, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Hampstead, Kings Cross, Maida Vale, Muswell Hill, Screen on the Green, and Walton, where you can enjoy the comfy sofas with your baby until their 1st birthday. There's even a warm drink and slice of cake included in your ticket, making this the best deal on the list.

2 Electric Cinemas

I'm still not over my heartbreak at the Shoreditch Electric cinema closing to non-members, but there are still 2 venues in Portobello and White City. Their Electric Scream sessions are on Mondays in Portobello and Tuesdays in White City.

The Castle Cinema, Hackney

The Castle Cinema runs baby screenings at 11am, and staff will help you to get your pram upstairs and park it somewhere suitable. As with the other locations, screenings are only open to adults with a baby under 1 year old.

Rio Cinema, Dalston

I went to see Barbie at the Rio cinema this week - if you're travelling in by the overground, make sure you go to Dalston Junction as that's the only station with step-free access nearby. There's plenty of space for prams and staff will help you find a spot to park.

The Barbican, Barbican

I've spoken about baby cinema at the Barbican before - you can even explore the rest of the building or go to one of the many cafes on site before or after your screening.
