7 Baby and Toddler-Friendly Pubs in London

There's nothing better than a sunny beer garden in summer, but unfortunately having a little one can make finding the right pub a bit harder than just wandering to your local. Here are some of London's more kid-friendly pubs, just in time for the sun.

The Rosendale is incredibly child-friendly. They don't just have a good kids' menu and baby changing facilities - they also have high chairs, colouring books, a play area in the summer garden, and a toddler space with ride-on toys.

The Drayton Court Hotel, Ealing
The Drayton Court Hotel's been a London institution since the late 1800s, and has the biggest beer garden in London - perfect for lounging with a white wine. Mums and dads will be pleased to know it also has a play area for helping the little one blow off some energy, high chairs so they can tuck into the excellent children's menu, and unisex baby changing facilities.

Yet another Ealing pub with great baby/toddler facilities - there's a children's play area, unisex baby changing facilities, high chairs, and in case you have a four-legged friend in tow, it's extremely dog-friendly.

People's Park Tavern is right on Victoria Park, with a huge beer garden and a dilemma about whether you want to actually go to the pub or just sit out on the grass. In addition to the usual baby changing/kids menu/highchairs provided, they also do run a Kids' Table on Sundays from the 11th June - that means they'll offer fun, crafty activities to keep kids (aged 3+) entertained while you enjoy Sunday lunch and perhaps a few drinks. It's available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Three Compasses in Hornsey is a beautiful corner pub with huge stained-glass windows and some great boardgames. They also host a regular Bring Your Own Baby pub quiz, so they're well set up for little ones.

The Cat and Mutton is right on Broadway Market, just off London Fields. It's a great place to nip into after a walk along Regents' Canal if you're looking for a way to while away a sunny Sunday. It has some outdoor seating but not quite a beer garden, but there are also unisex baby changing facilities and highchairs.

Big Penny Social is an enormous brewery and beer hall with more than enough space for your pram (and quite a few others), so it's a popular venue for lots of parents throughout the week. There are unisex baby changing facilities, highchairs, and some excellent events like children's dance classes, Bring Your Own Baby pub quizzes, and a Father's Day BBQ. There's even a track play session where you can book in to play with model trains (or enjoy a catch up with some friends while your little one does).
Got a favourite pub to visit with your little one? Tell me about it! I'd like to build out this list over time to help parents find somewhere where they and their family can relax.
